Human Trafficking Awareness

The past year has been more challenging than most. Although the pandemic has changed the way we live our lives, it has not stopped human traffickers from exploiting people for profit. January was Human Trafficking Awareness Month and the Pasco Sheriff’s Office remains committed to ending human trafficking. Simply put, human traffickers take advantage of vulnerable people and use force, fraud, or coercion to compel them into commercial labor trafficking, sex trafficking, or involuntary servitude. Human trafficking is the fastest growing and third largest criminal enterprise in the world. According to the Florida Dream Center, an estimated 21 million children, … Continue reading Human Trafficking Awareness

No Good Deed Goes Unnoticed by God

By Karen McBride Vilma Burgos and her family were enjoying a day at the beach on Honeymoon Island. The wind picked up as an unexpected storm began to circulate offshore on that Fourth of July day. Vilma began packing up the car as it was imminent that the storm was approaching quickly as often happens in Florida. Her son, Oscar and his wife, Betty, remained at the blanket gathering their children’s toys and packing up the remainder of the beach items. A woman and her 2-month-old baby were sitting nearby. America’s Comeback

By Dave Meyer Although many people are unaware of it, Satan has a plan for America. He wants us to forget our godly heritage and slowly erase our rich, biblical foundation. Our society celebrates doing whatever they think is right, … Continue reading America’s Comeback

Submitted by Kay Dunn, Co-publisher of the Dunndeal Gazettes Trials: James 1:3-5 says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” Two Kinds of Wisdom: James 3:13-18 says, “Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, … Continue reading Expressing Faith in Daily Living!

New Year’s Resolution: “Who Do You Say I Am?” Luke 9:18-20

David wrote in Psalm 27:4, “One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.” When David expressed the desire to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of his life, he didn’t mean that he wanted to live in a church all the time. What he really wanted was to sense God’s presence in his life all the time. His one thing was his relationship with God. Paul wrote in Philippians 3:8, “…everything else is worthless when … Continue reading New Year’s Resolution: “Who Do You Say I Am?” Luke 9:18-20
