In our society, certain groups, (nowadays every group) including veterans, seniors, first responders, recent homeless families from inflation and essential workers, face unique challenges in accessing basic necessities and support systems. It is imperative that we extend a helping hand to those who have served our nation, our vulnerable populations, and those who are on the front lines every day. By providing targeted support, such as a food pantry and medical care, we not only alleviate immediate hardships but also foster a stronger, more resilient community.
The Food Pantry is Helping Veterans, Seniors, and First Responders, Homeless School Aged Children, and Their Families
“Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22: 39)
Father and Son Love Free Food Pantry has taken that commandment to heart and established a food pantry for the food insecure. The clean, welcoming pantry is full of fresh fruits and vegetables, rows of neatly stacked cans, boxes, breads, milk, and freezers full of meat.
Tuesdays were initially reserved for military personnel, first responders, and essential workers. However, with so many being displaced from increased rents, the homeless population and families are now welcomed. The food pantry is open from 3pm-6:00pm. The public is welcome on Friday, from 12:00-3:00pm.

The ministry extends its helping hand to 1500 individuals weekly, spanning from Tampa to Sarasota, ensuring no one goes hungry in the community. To stock their pantry shelves, the food is purchased at discounted bulk rates, maximizing their ability to provide to those in need. Patrons are not charged a membership fee to ensure that access to the grocery store remains open and inclusive to all who require assistance. With limited financial support from the community, many times Pastor Johns, the founder of Father & Son Love Ministries and Father & Son Love Free Food Pantry, purchases some of the food with funds from his own pocket. This is where the community can help. The number of families they serve has doubled and, unfortunately, rent for the building has also doubled.
If your business is looking for a way to make a difference in our community, consider becoming a monthly partner. To make a donation, go to https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=5BZJ5FSHQNUCN
