“Preparing Entries for the Tampa Rose Society Rose Show” is the topic for our April 16 meeting. We meet the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Photography, single roses, collections of roses, and arrangements are all categories for our show. We even have a category called “Tin Can Derby!” Our Rose Show is May 11, 2024 at Westshore Plaza in Tampa. You do not need to be a member to enter the Rose Show.
Learn which roses have the best chance of winning. The American Rose Magazine lists yearly which roses have won the most awards nationwide. When the “Tampa Challenge” is judged at the meeting, we will explain exactly what the judges are looking for when winners are selected. We will discuss photography entries.
What types of rose pictures can be entered at the show. We will talk about rose arrangements.
We will tell you what kinds of entries will qualify. Come with your questions and bring a notepad! There is no charge to attend the meeting. Our next Tampa Rose Society meeting is Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at the Seminole Garden Center, 5800 Central Avenue at 7pm. Snacks will be available. We always end the meeting with a fun raffle.
