PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (October 22, 2020) – Starting on Monday, Nov. 2, the Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppes will return to normal shopping hours of Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm.
“We will continue ensuring that our Shoppes are safe and clean for shoppers, staff and volunteers with frequent cleaning, wearing masks, and social distancing,” said Aaron Barrish, Director of Thrift Shoppes. “We have had such great support from the community and our volunteers over the past few months that we are confident we will be able to reopen the Shoppes fully, which will allow us to also raise more money to support Gulfside Hospice.”
Due to the current pandemic and limited volunteers to staff the stores, the Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppes have been closed on Mondays since they reopened in June. Donations will continue to be accepted during store hours, and staff will continue to regularly sanitize high-traffic areas throughout the day and deep clean the stores at the end of every business day.
In addition to in-store shopping, the Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppes will continue to offer virtual shopping options where customers can shop from home and pick up items curbside. A variety of inventory is available in the online shop, or customers can request a personal 30-minute shop-along experience through video chat or photos with a store manager to shop for specific items. Details for both virtual shopping options are online at Gulfside.org/virtual-shopping.
The five Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppes are located in Dade City, Hudson, Lutz, New Port Richey and Zephyrhills. The proceeds from all five locations directly support care for hospice patients in Pasco County through Gulfside Hospice. For more information about the Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppes or the cause they support, go to Gulfside.org or call 727-845-5707.
