Life is all about choices. We can choose to take care of our health or we can choose not to. I know most of us weren’t taught by our family what being healthy and fit is, and school and society does not teach us that either. We are really left to figure it out on our own.
After 26 years in the health and fitness industry and overcoming my own food addictions, including a 30-year sugar addiction, I have learned that the only true way to be healthy and to maintain a healthy weight is to learn how to eat. I know that’s not the fancy answer or the exciting answer some might want when they endeavor into a new diet.
But it is truly the only way to lose weight and to keep it off. I think learning how to eat is learning how to eat in a way that you absolutely love that you have no cravings, you don’t over eat, you can walk by food that used to tempt you and it doesn’t even faze you (yes that is possible) and you’re not hungry all of the time.
If most people knew a way to eat like that, then they wouldn’t struggle running from diet to diet and constantly having to go up a size in clothes because the biggest size clothes they have has now gotten too tight! I have trained over 6,000 people in my fitness business and many people tell me that they’ve tried every diet and they’ve never found one that they’ve stuck with to have long-term success until they tried our program.
