Save the date for Land O’ Lakes’ first beer festival! The Brewfest for Hospice, benefiting Gulfside Hospice, is coming to Heritage Park this October. The fundraiser is set for Sat., Oct. 6 from 6 – 9pm at Land O’ Lakes Heritage Park, located on US 41 at 5401 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. The event will feature unlimited sampling of craft beer and wine, live music, vendors, food trucks, games and more. All proceeds will benefit patient care and bereavement services for the more than 400 patients and their families cared for every day by Gulfside Hospice locally in Pasco County.
“Raise your glass at Fall Brewfest for Hospice and you’ll help bring care and compassion to hospice patients and their families,” said Carla Armstrong, Director of Philanthropy at Gulfside. “Hospice has touched so many lives and we rely on the generous support from our community to ensure no patient is turned away because of inability to pay.”
Tickets for the event cost $25 for a single, $45 for a double, or $120 for a 6-pack. Admission to the event includes beer and wine sampling in a souvenir cup, plus access to the event’s vendors and live music. Food trucks will be on-site for food at an additional cost. Tickets are available now online at BrewfestForHospice.org or by calling 727-845-5707.
Breweries currently scheduled to attend and offer samples include Three Daughters Brewing, Craft Life Brewing, Hop State Brewing Company, Sparacia Witherell Family Winery, The Liquid Garage, Tonka’s Taphouse, Wiregrass Brewing and Yuengling. Additional breweries and food trucks to be announced as confirmed, and will be posted at BrewfestForHospice.org.
