FCA hosts 3rd Annual Pasco County All-Star Football Game
On December 7th, Pasco County will host the 3rd Annual All-Star Football Game. In the first two games, over 2,000 fans packed Sunlake Stadium to witness the east-west clash for football supremacy in the county.
Every public high school in the county (Cypress Creek in 2018) will participate in this final game of the 2017 season. Who will come out on top this year with the series being tied 1-1 after two seasons? We invite you to come out to witness the exciting third game in the series.
Last month, the head coaches gathered in a room to conduct “draft day”—an NFL-type negotiation meeting where, in the back rooms of Sunlake High School offices, coaches would banter and barter, doing their best to present their athletes as worthy of taking the 22 positions being filled. After the deliberations, an all-star team was whittled down to the best 40 players in the east and the best 40 players in the west. These rosters can be seen on the All-Star website at www.pascoallstargame.com.
At FCA, we are very thankful to be able to organize this football game for the benefit of the players, coaches, schools, and Pasco sports in the community. We are also putting on the 2nd annual All-Star baseball game in the spring of next year!
