Summertime can be a busy travel time for families. Make sure to have all vaccinations up to date that are required when visiting other countries. If your son or daughter is involved in sports, it is time to schedule his/her sports physical. Same-week appointments are available for school physicals at Pediatric Place of Tampa, and the practice accepts all insurances as well as self-pay patients.

When visiting Pediatric Place of Tampa for the first time, new patients should bring:
•Your child’s insurance card
•A release of medical records
•Copies of preexisting medical problems
•Immunization records
Children will feel comfortable in the warm and welcoming environment while being cared for by the professional staff. The cheerful, kid-friendly office is on the bus line too.
Students return to school in August. It is important for all shots to be up to date, and hearing and vision tested so students are totally ready for a new year of learning and healthy playing. Schedule an appointment soon.
Dr. Johnson-Towson and her staff are dedicated to keeping patients both healthy and educated on changes in children’s health care. Pediatric Place of Tampa offers Urgent Care hours to accommodate sick children after work, school, and/or daycare. Urgent Care hours are available Monday – Friday until 7pm, and Saturday 8:00am until noon.
