During the month of November, the Pasco Tax Collector’s Office will be featuring The Good Samaritan Health Clinic as the Charity of the Month.
The Good Samaritan Health Clinic is an important provider of health care to those most in need in Pasco County.
“The free medical care and free prescriptions that we provide to limited-income Pasco County residents without health insurance is only possible because of the generosity of the community,” comments Executive Director Mike Singer. “Your donation to Good Sam helps make free healthcare a reality for our medically fragile friends and neighbors.”
The Good Samaritan Health Clinic was created to serve the uninsured and underinsured of Pasco County,” remarks Tax Collector Mike Fasano.
“The “Good Sam” as it is often referred to, has provided health and dental services to our community for close to 35 years! The Good Samaritan Health Clinic’s driving belief is that everyone is entitled access to medical care, regardless of their ability to pay. For example, in 2023 over 6,000 prescriptions were filled at the “Good Sam” pharmacy at ZERO COST to the patients.”
