St. Vincent de Paul CARES is a non-profit organization dedicated primarily to reducing homelessness, especially among the veteran community. Over the past ten years St. Vincent de Paul CARES has helped over 22,000 individuals and families overcome homelessness. Of those, over 63% were homeless veterans. All funds raised during the month of November will go directly to helping our military heroes and their families escape a life living in their cars, surviving in the woods, or moving from shelter to shelter.
“St. Vincent de Paul CARES is one of the largest social service providers in the Southeastern United States that focuses on ending veteran homelessness,” remarks Michael Raposa, CEO of St. Vincent de Paul CARES. “Since 2013, we have served over 14,500 veterans across the state of Florida, and we are proud to partner with Pasco TC Gives to end homelessness for thousands more through your generous donations.” With every dollar donated during the month of November staying in Pasco County, this is our chance as a community to give back to those who sacrificed so much to keep our nation safe and free.”
Donations can be made at any of the five tax collector locations in Pasco County. For those who would like to give online, the tax collector office’s charitable giving arm Pasco TC Gives has a webpage through which donations for St. Vincent de Paul CARES (Charity of the Month) can be made: https://www.govhub.com/fl-pasco/tc-gives/donate
