Hello! I’m Harley. Every month I write on a different topic, and this month’s topic is creating/creation. Recently, I crocheted a hat for my trip to Louisville, Kentucky. When you crochet, you must gather a crochet hook and yarn. You also must acquire knowledge and skill, as with any other craft. You will encounter trial and error. Then, create! The benefit of a hat is head warmth/keeping 80% of your body heat.
To contrast this, when God creates, He simply speaks things into existence. He created humans with our c. 30 trillion cells, brain and personality, and everything! His benefit? A relationship with humans.
You know, it would get lonely being God. Bachelor parties with the Trinity probably would get old over time. He created us to be good companions, but we crushed our friendship, directly disobeying Him. But God is the God of forgiveness. He still wants us as friends. If you want to be His friend, you can pray for God to come into your life, be with you, guide you, and be your best BFF. (Hint: next month’s article might be about Louisville, Kentucky, and the Creation and Ark Museums! :D)
