Hi, my name is Harley, and this month our topic will be perseverance.
It is sometimes annoying to do things you don’t want to do. As in decorating for Christmas and any type of holiday, preparing for parties, putting up with people, rehearsals for Christmas plays (in my case, more on that later) , and everything like that. It takes a lot of work to do things, but we must persevere if we want a good end result.
So, about the Christmas plays, I danced in a play at my church called Delivering Christmas. I danced in Feliz Navidad choreography, and later in the play, was a “wise woman” in a caravan that came to worship baby Jesus. It was stressful. But the presentation was so delightful! You don’t get anything if you don’t work hard.
When you persevere, you have a prosperous life, but we should also bless others with our time and resources. Don’t do things for selfish gain. Wouldn’t it be silly if Jesus died on the cross for himself? Don’t you think it would be silly to be rich and not give to the poor? Be kind and persevering. I hope you had a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
