Liberty Manor for Veterans was presented a donation from Target Corporate on July 17, 2021. Target and its team members support community programs and partnerships that benefit service members, veterans, and their friends and families before, during, and after service. These programs include USO, Operation Gratitude, Military Business Council where they value the perspectives and ideas that team members from all backgrounds and experience levels bring to Target. Target’s Military Business Council is made up of team members at the Minneapolis headquarters, supports our inclusive culture by providing resources and support to team members with a connection to our nation’s military, and helps us identify opportunities to better serve job candidates, team members, and guests with military connections.
The Target Corporation is also a member of the Veteran Jobs Mission where they work with other top companies toward a doubled goal of hiring 1 million veterans and their spouses by 2020. In 2012, Target became one of the first Yellow Ribbon companies as part of the Minnesota National Guard’s Beyond the Yellow Ribbon program.

Target is also known to work with partners like Hiring America and Clear Channel to support military veterans as they transition into the workforce. Four of their team member veterans shared their success stories for iHeartRadio’s Show Your Stripes initiative, and Target was among the first companies featured in the Hiring America TV series dedicated to helping veterans find jobs.
