The Kim family came from Korea to America in 1984. The three brothers, two sisters, and their mother brought with them their talent for making delicious Korean cuisine. They opened the first Korean restaurant in Tampa just a few years later. As time passed, John Kim felt a calling on his life to spread God’s word and attended seminary. He is now the Pastor at Keystone Korean Baptist Church. Keystone Korean Baptist Church is located at 7029 Van Dyke Road, Odessa. Services are held on Sundays beginning at 10:45.
To continue the family legacy of offering delicious food, his brother, Jeff Kim, opened Natural Market located at 4441 Gunn Highway, Tampa. He takes the time each morning to select the fresh fruit and vegetables from local farmers to sell at Natural Market.
A variety of organic fruits and vegetables are offered, as well as an assortment of colorful flowers. Be sure to stop in to purchase flowers for that unique birthday gift, Mother’s Day bouquet, or for another special occasion. Fresh cut roses, sunflowers, and delicate orchids can brighten anyone’s day!
In addition to fruits, vegetables, and flowers, Natural Market is now offering freshly made sushi. Ho Kim is using his more than 20 years in the restaurant industry to create delectable fresh sushi daily. Choose from Mexican Rolls with tempura shrimp, avocado, and smelt roe; Tampa Rolls with fried tilapia, and onion; California Rolls with Crab stick, cucumber, avocado, and smelt roe, and more. Vegetarian options include Wakame Roll, with seaweed salad with cucumber; Avocado and Cucumber Roll; and Asparagus and Cucumber Roll. Additional options are available daily.
