Hi, my name is Harley, and today I will talk about King Solomon. King Solomon 🤴🏻was a really wise king—wait, rewind ⏪ Solomon’s dad was—(weird music)—King David. 🤴🏽Ya’ll know ‘bout him 😜 But one night when Solomon was sleeping—wait, pause ⏸ that’s too creepy. One night when Solomon was sweetly snoring 😴 wait, pause ⏸ that’s too cute. One night 💤 when King Solomon 🤴🏻was asleep, 💤 God came to him in a dream 💭 and said “Ask for whatever you want 😃 me to give you.” And Solomon asked for wisdom ✨🧠 ✨ and then God gave him wisdom ✨ 🧠✨ and riches 💸💎💸—wait, pause ⏸ What type of money did they have in Israel back then? 🇮🇱 💴💶💴 🇮🇱 Nevermind—and honor 🙇🏾♀🙇🏾🙇🏾♂and then Solomon woke up.
Having riches and honor and all that isn’t bad, but good discernment is much better. When he saved a baby by being wise, for instance. Riches do not give you wisdom, but wisdom will give you honor.
Wisdom gave Solomon happy subjects, kingdoms as far as the border of Egypt, daily provisions of 6.6 kiloliters of fine flour, and 13.2 kiloliters of meal. He had ten head ( 🤔) of stall-fed cattle, twenty of pasture-fed cattle, and a hundred sheep and goats as well as deer, gazelles, roebucks, and choice fowl, safety, four thousand chariot stalls, and twelve thousand horses.
You can find riches and wisdom and honor with Jesus if He is your Savior, and He is the one who should truly be honored.
Bye guys! See ya next month, maybe on the beach!
1 Kings 4:29
Now God gave Solomon wisdom and very great discernment and breadth of mind, like the sand that is on the seashore.

Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
