Melissa Brown, the creator of Nautilus Soap Company, wants to help people understand what real soap is, the ingredients used, and that commercial soap is not always real soap. This soap company’s mission is “Passionate creation and promotion of healthier choices in bath and body products, and serving our community through donations to local charities.”
Ten percent of sales are donated to local charities which are disclosed monthly on the website and on their Facebook page. She provides the name of the charity and a brief description of who they are and what they do. Nautilus routinely offers a 10% discount on a purchase of 3 or more items. This month, Gazette readers are being offered a special online discount with the use of a promo code (see ad).
Nautilus Soap products go beyond just detergent and preservative-free handcrafted soap, shampoo, and conditioner bars. The website, nautilussoap.com, features other necessities such as shower steamers, shaving bars, wax melts, linen and room sprays as well as bathing accessories like natural sponges, loofahs, and shaving brushes.
For more convenience, check out their single, 3, 6, or 12-month subscription boxes featuring related scent or themed items, sometimes specialty, each month. Don’t want to guess online about ordering a fragrance? Or do you need a gift for someone and don’t really know what to do? Give Melissa a call or email, and she will be glad to have you over to her workshop located behind her home in Lutz. She can help you put together a lovely gift for everyone on your list!
